About the Online Carol Service
This simple carol service has been made by James Cooper, a Christmas loving web designer from the UK, who also run whychristmas.com, the biggest Christmas information site on the web.
The music/carols for the service come from an old vinyl album called 'Christmas In England - Carol Service In A Country Church' (RCA Victor – LPM-1568) made in 1957. Although made for the US market, it does have the feel of a rural English country church carol service (I live in the countryside and have been to many rural carol services!). I used tracks from this album as I understood this recording was no longer in copyright. No copyright infringement is intended.
The readings come from the copyright free Bible translation the 'New Heart English Bible'.
